Aggregate limit - Grey, Shoveler and Mallard duck: a maximum of 20 birds for any one species or a total bag not exceeding 20 birds for all species combined.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. except that for the hunting of Paradise Shelduck on 26 and 27 February 2000, shooting hours will be from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Special Conditions:

  1. No persons shall wilfully leave on the hunting ground any game bird(s) shot or parts of any game bird(s) shot.

  2. Persons may hunt or kill game from unmoored camouflaged rowboats during the game season.

  3. Shotguns with a magazine capacity of 4 shells can be used throughout the season in the Northland Fish and Game Region for hunting of all game.
