Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of an Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve and Revocation of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the appointment of the Burkes Pass Hall Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further revokes the reservation of the said land.

Appointment of the Milnthorpe Park Society Incorporated to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby appoints The Milnthorpe Park Society Incorporated to control and manage the scenic reserve (section 19 (1) (b)) described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act and to the additional conditions contained within the agreement between the Minister and the said society dated the 11th day of February 1999.

Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Mt Te Kinga Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall form part of the Mt Te Kinga Scenic Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Reclassification of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of both the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, from plantation reserve and the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, from afforestation reserve, to local purpose reserve (afforestation).
