Audit New Zealand has given its unqualified opinion that the financial statements of the Commerce Commission:

• comply with generally accepted accounting practice; and
• fairly reflect:
  • the financial position as at 30 June 1999;
  • the results of its operations and cash flows for the year ended on that date; and
  • the service performance achievements in relation to the performance targets and other measures adopted for the year ended on that date.

Waikaia Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 1999

Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement: This notice may be cited as the Waikaia Rural Fire District Revocation Notice 1999.

This notice will come into force on the 1st day of December 1999.

2. Abolition of Waikaia Rural Fire District: The Waikaia Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.

3. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice: The Waikaia Rural Fire District Notice 1954* is hereby revoked.
