Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Napier City) Notice 1999.

(2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plans numbered:

LT9930/1 of 2, entitled “Speed Restriction Zones – Napier City”; and

LT9930/2 of 2, entitled “Speed Restriction Zones – Napier City (Bay View)”,

held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; except where declared:

(a) as 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas or limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or

(b) as excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962,

as may be ascertained from the legend. The plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice.

(3) The following notices are revoked:

* The Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1993.

** The Traffic (Napier City) Notice No. 1, 1995.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hastings District) Notice 1999.

(2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plans numbered:

LT9929/1 of 2, entitled “Speed Restriction Hastings District” at: Hastings, Flaxmere and Havelock North; and

LT9929/2 of 2, entitled “Speed Restriction Hastings District” at: Puketapu, Pakowhai, Omahu and Fernhill, Whakatu, Waimarama, Bride Pa, Paki Paki, Haumoana, Putorino, Clive, and Te Awanga; and

held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; except where declared:

(a) as 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas or limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976;
