(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 2, 1999.

(2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered: LT9959 entitled “Gazetted Speed Restrictions for Roads at Rolleston Selwyn District”; held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; except where declared:

(a) as 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as may be ascertained from the legend. The plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice.
