Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How the Proceeds of Sale May Be Utilised

Recreation Reserve Bell Street, Tauranga

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over that part of a recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Tauranga District Council at such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, with any net proceeds of sale to be paid into the council's reserves account, to be used for the purchase of land for reserves or the development or improvement of or reserves administered by the said council.

584 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 61261 (formerly part Lot 1, D.P. S. 34356). Part certificate of title 31D/588.

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waimakariri District Council on the 23rd day of November 1998:

'That in the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waimakariri District Council hereby resolves that the lands held by the said council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be, scenic reserve within the meaning of the said Act.'
