Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Declaring New Section of State Highway: State Highway No. 93

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that, with effect from midnight on the 31st day of October 1999, those sections of road described in the Schedule hereto are declared to be State highway.

Schedule

No. 93 State Highway to consist of those sections of road in Clutha and Gore Districts commencing at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Gore Road at Clinton (new Reference Station 0) and extending generally in a south-westerly direction along Gore Road to its junction with Old Coach Road, then extending generally in a westerly direction along Old Coach Road to the Clutha/Gore District boundary (new Reference Station 16), then continuing generally in a westerly direction along Old Coach Road to the intersection with Kana Street, then extending generally in a south-westerly direction along Kana Street to the intersection with Bridge Street, then extending generally in a westerly direction along Bridge Street to the intersection with State Highway 1, at Mataura (new Reference Station 43), a distance of 43.2 kilometres.
