Notice That Electrical Code of Practice is Available for Comment

I give notice that the revised draft of New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for the Safety of Electricity in Hazardous Areas NZECP 24:1999 is available for public comment.

Comments should be received at the office below by the 12th day of November 1999.

Copies of the draft code may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Engineer, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington, or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.

Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board

The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board (“the board”), having been directed by the board, in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice of the following registered electrical workers having been disciplined by the board under Part XI of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decision or order of the board:

Glen Allan Partridge of Christchurch, was fined $1,500 and ordered to pay costs of $750. The fine and costs to be paid by 4 October 1999.

Aubrey Gerald Breeze, formerly of Christchurch, now resident in Queensland, was fined $1,750 and ordered to pay costs of $750. The fine and costs to be paid by 4 October 1999.
