Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the North Shore City Council on the 1 July 1997:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the North Shore City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city in fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act, and the piece of land held by the said city in fee simple and described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a local purpose (community buildings) reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

North Auckland Land District—North Shore City

First Schedule

8038 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 59513. All certificate of title 15A/1161.

Second Schedule

5883 square metres, more or less, being part Allotment 466, Parish of Takapuna. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948. All certificate of title 5B/706.

Both situated in Block VIII, Waitemata Survey District.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land to be Acquired for Road—Kairakau Road, Hawke’s Bay District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 27 July 1999, declaring land to be road, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 5 August 1999, No. 90 at page 2151, by deleting the words “Hastings District Council” in the head recital and replacing them with “Central Hawke’s Bay District Council” and by deleting the words “Hastings District” in the heading of the Schedule and replacing them with “Central Hawke’s Bay District”.
