Fire Service Act 1975

Piha Fire District Notice, June 1999

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Piha Fire District Notice, June 1999.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 21st day of June 1999.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices pertaining to Piha Fire District.

Constitution of Fire District

4. The urban areas of the town of Piha are hereby constituted a Fire District.

5. The boundaries of the constituted district is defined and delineated on plans held at the Office of Arapawa and Auckland Fire Regions, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, East Coast/Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (community buildings – aquarium) reserve.
