Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 14th day of July 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Jordan Marcus Moke, factory worker of 62 Cambridge Road, Tauranga, was convicted and sentenced to 3 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 23 August 1998, following his conviction on 14 July 1998, for an offence of driving while disqualified.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a

Nissan Skyline motor vehicle, registered No. PT 964 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Jordan Marcus Moke, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 14th day of July 1998.

Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that at the sitting of the High Court at Wellington on the 11th day of December 1997, before the Honourable Justice Neazor, the Honourable Justice Goddard and the Honourable Justice Greig on appeal against the decision of the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal dated 17 March 1997.

It was adjudged on the 23rd day of April 1998, that the name of Robert James Cummins be struck off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.
