Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

CRN: 8019016412

On the 6th day of July 1998, at the District Court at Hamilton, Steven Peter Barrett of 4 Livingston Avenue, Hamilton, was convicted and sentenced to driving with excess breath alcohol and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 7 months from 6 July 1998, following his conviction on 6 July 1998 for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge M. L. S. F. Burnett has ordered that a Honda Civic motor vehicle, registration No. JY 9090 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Hamilton, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Hamilton, by 5.00 p.m. on the 6th day of July 1998.
