Declaring Land Acquired for Road, Land to be Set Apart as Road, Land Acquired for Motorway, Land Acquired and Land Declared for Pedestrian Access Way at Lookout Point in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Dunedin, declares:

  1. Pursuant to section 20, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held for motorway shall be set apart for road.

  3. Pursuant to section 20, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, is acquired for motorway purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  4. Pursuant to section 20, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, is acquired for pedestrian access way and shall vest in The Dunedin City Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  5. Pursuant to section 114 (1) the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto held for motorway is declared access way and shall vest in The Dunedin City Council.
