Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Revoking Section of State Highway—State Highway No. 74

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 74 described in the Schedule hereto, is revoked within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

Schedule

That section of State Highway No. 74 at Lyttelton from a point (Route Position 22/0.72) located on Gladstone Quay approximately 210 metres measured in a southerly direction from the eastern projected boundary of Donald Street to the junction of Cashin Quay Back Road and Gladstone Pier Road (Route Position 22/0.90)—a distance of 180 metres.

His Excellency THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall as from the 28th day after the publication of this Order-in-Council in the New Zealand Gazette, be national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980, and shall be added to and form part of Arthur’s Pass National Park.

132.0258 hectares, being part Rural Sections 7442 and 7443 and Rural Section 7444. All certificate of title 38A/1168. S.O. Plan 4586 and D.P. 6495.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution concerning the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto was passed by The North Shore City Council at its meeting on the 1st day of May 1997:

“That the area of Barrys Point reclamation to the west of the proposed Fred Thomas Drive extension be declared recreation reserve, pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977”.

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto as recreation reserves subject to the provisions of the said Act and further vests the said reserves listed in the Schedule in The Southland District Council, in trust for that purpose.
