Objects to the name of the proposed Karapiro Electorate on the grounds that other proposed changes would remove large areas south and west of Karapiro and add large areas in northern and western Waikato.

Suggested solution Change the name to North Waikato.

Objects to the inclusion of parts of the Minden and Te Puna statistical area units in the proposed Coromandel Electorate on the grounds that this area’s community of interest is with Western Bay of Plenty and other suggested changes require more population to be included in the proposed Bay of Plenty Electorate.

Suggested solution Transfer these area units to the proposed Bay of Plenty Electorate.
