Suggested solution Electorate should be known as Albany as it is a defining point for the area.

Objects to the inclusion of the land west of East Coast Road and south of Browns Bay Road and Maston Road in the proposed East Coast Bays Electorate on the following grounds:

This area’s community of interest with Greenhithe, Albany and Glenfield which is split by proposed boundaries.

Other suggested changes which require the transfer of population out of East Coast Bays so that it remains within the population tolerance.

The projected population growth in the region.
Suggested solution Transfer the area south of Browns Bay Road and Maston Road and east of East Coast Road to the proposed North Shore Electorate. Transfer the area west of East Coast Road to a new Whenuapai Electorate.

Objects to the inclusion of the Sunnynook and most of the Forrest Hill statistical area units in the North Shore Electorate on the grounds that other suggested changes require the transfer of population out of North Shore so that it remains within the population tolerance and because of projected population growth in the North Shore area generally.
Suggested solution Transfer this area to a new Whenuapai Electorate.

Objects to the inclusion of Woodside Road, Mayfair Place, Sabot Place, Scarlett Drive, Universal Drive and Camphora Place in the proposed Helensville Electorate on the grounds of topographical features and community of interest.
Suggested solution To move the Helensville Boundary to the Horuhuru Creek so as to include the above areas in the proposed Te Atatu Electorate.
