Objects to the inclusion of Greenhithe and Paremoremo in the proposed Rodney Electorate on the grounds that they are physically and community wise totally separated from the rest of the Rodney Electorate.

Suggested solution To include the two areas in the proposed East Coast Bays Electorate.

03 002 b, h Objection Paremoremo Residents & Ratepayers’ Association

Similar to Objection 03/001 with respect to Paremoremo.

Suggested solution To include Paremoremo in the proposed East Coast Bays Electorate along with the portion of Albany area from the Avenue West and the Greenhithe area. A more appropriate boundary for the Western sector would be O’Briens Road – Ridge Road to Brookdale Road. It is a major ridge in the land so it is a natural boundary.

03 003 b Objection D McNab

Objects to the district of Kaukapakapa being included in the proposed Rodney Electorate on the grounds of community of interest with Helensville.

Suggested solution That the boundary of the proposed Rodney and Helensville Electorates follow McLauchlan Road, Kaipara Coast Highway, Kahikatea Flat Road, Forestry Road and Bald Hill Road.

03 004 b, h Objection Greenhithe Residents & Ratepayers’ Association

Similar to Objection 03/001 with respect to Greenhithe.

Suggested solution To include the Greenhithe Peninsular in the proposed East Coast Bays Electorate.

03 005 b, h Objection S Russell (See General 002 for details on this objector’s overall strategy for electorate changes).

Objects to the inclusion of the Silverdale North, Waiwera, Hatfields Beach, Orewa, Red Beach, Silverdale South, Stanmore Bay, Manly and Army Bay statistical area units in the proposed Rodney Electorate on the grounds of their community of interest with urban Auckland and other changes to the arrangement of electorates in the North Auckland Region.

Suggested solution Transfer this area to the proposed East Coast Bays Electorate.
