Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Local Purpose Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and, pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the said Act, the Conservator further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a local purpose reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a local purpose (wastewater treatment) reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act and further declares that pursuant to section 28 of the latter Act that The Tasman District Council be appointed to control and manage the said reserve as a local purpose (wastewater treatment) reserve.

17.9380 hectares, more or less, being area “A” on S.O. Plan 15571.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution concerning the parcels of land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto was passed by The North Shore City Council at its meeting on the 16th day of May 1998:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The North Shore City Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are declared to be recreation reserve and further, that the pieces of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are declared to be local purpose (community buildings) reserve within the meaning of the said Act”.

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District—North Shore City

1.1378 hectares, more or less, being part Lots 7 and 8, D.P. 1128 and part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 1558; marked “A” on S.O. Plan 69461. Part certificates of title 67/169 and 80/176 (cancelled).

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District—North Shore City

6386 square metres, more or less, being part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 1558; marked “B” on S.O. Plan 69461. Part certificate of title 80/176 (cancelled).

All situated in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be sold by The Clutha District Council on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

2251 square metres, more or less, being Lot 26, D.P. 18539, Block II, South Molyneux Survey District. Certificate of title 9C/569.
