Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949 and pursuant to authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.
This notice shall come into force on the 17th day of December 1998.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Road, Richardson Street, Nelson City

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and is vested in The Nelson City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road and vested in Upper Hutt City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette and further declares pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 and 120 (3) the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title A2/693, subject to memorandum of encumbrance B. 402061.2.
