Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

CRN: 8070019242

On the 9th day of November 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, William Walker of 335 Matapihi Road, Mount Maunganui, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months periodic detention and was not disqualified further pursuant to section 30A(c), following his conviction on 9 November 1998, for an offence of driving while disqualified having been previously convicted.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Toyota Vista motor vehicle, registered No. NZ 3865

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, William Walker, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 9th day of November 1998.

On the 9th day of November 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Peter Murray Cozens, water blaster of 71 Penny Place, Welcome Bay, Tauranga, was convicted and fined $500.00, Court costs $130.00 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 8 months from 9 November 1998, following his conviction on 9 November 1998, for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Holden Monaro motor vehicle, registered No. XC 8668

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Peter Murray Cozens, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 9th day of November 1998.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Toyota Corona motor vehicle, registered No. GZ 4386

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Shane Alfred McNeil, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 9th day of November 1998.

Notice is hereby given that sittings of the Maori Land Court and Maori Appellate Court will be held during the year 1 January 1999 to 31 December 1999 at the places and commencing on the dates referred to in the Schedule hereto.

The hour of commencement of each sitting (and the date and place thereof in the case of the Maori Appellate Court) will be notified in the relevant Panui. If any date referred to in the Schedule is varied, the varied date will be notified in the Panui.

Special fixtures may be arranged in accordance with the provisions of Rule 11 of the Maori Land Court Rules 1994.
