Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare, that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of a Reserve and Appointment of Waimakariri District Council to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, a local purpose (plantation) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further appoints The Waimakariri District Council to control and manage the said reserve as a local purpose (plantation) reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Manager of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Horowhenua District Council on 7 October 1998:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Horowhenua District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple known as Donnelly Park, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area of Land in the Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Council Region to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, the Right Honourable Sir Michael Hardie Boys, G.N.Z.M., G.C.M.G., the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the 6th day of October 1967 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 12th day of October 1967 at page 1765, with respect to the areas described in the Schedule hereto.
