Declaration of Vehicle With Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle

Pursuant to section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me by way of instrument of delegation dated 23 December 1996, I, Martyn Jacob de Liefde, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby declare that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the Act and any regulations under this Act.

Schedule

The three-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls bearing the Vehicle Identification Number 7A8M5001198235872 and owned by Mr L. H. Hayward of Ashburton.

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 5) 1998

Pursuant to section 38 (1) of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 5) 1998.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:

“Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988.

“Exchange” means the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. B.T. Funds Management (N.Z.) Limited authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) B.T. Funds Management (N.Z.) Limited is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation is subject to the condition that B.T. Funds Management (N.Z.) Limited does not carry on business of dealing in futures contracts except:

(a) As part of the business of B.T. Funds Management (N.Z.) Limited as a fund manager; or

(b) As part of the duties and functions of B.T. Funds Management (N.Z.) Limited as a trustee of any managed funds.

(3) The authorisation continues in force until it is revoked by the commission.
