as a member of the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology for a term commencing on 14 September 1998 and expiring on 1 August 2001.

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 871 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence held by that airline to provide for:

(i) in respect of France, the operation of 3 B767 services per week beyond Papeete to Los Angeles;

(ii) in respect of Belgium, the operation of 7 code-share only services per week from points in New Zealand via intermediate points to London (with rights to uplift own-stopover traffic only) and on to Brussels; and

(iii) in respect of Ireland, the operation of 7 code-share only services per week from points in New Zealand via intermediate points to London (with rights to uplift own-stopover traffic only) and on to Dublin.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 29 October 1998.

In the matter of the Land Transfer Act 1952, and in the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of R O Sandstad Limited:

Take notice that, I, Alan Esmond Bollard, Secretary to the Treasury, pursuant to section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, hereby disclaim for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, all right, title and interest of Her Majesty the Queen in the following leases:

a Firstly, under lease C. 509407.4 dated 1 April 1993 between Manfred Albert Schauer of Tutukaka, merchant banker and Winsor Wing Scheung Schauer, his wife, as lessors and R O Sandstad Limited, as lessee, in respect of a stratum estate in freehold within the meaning of the Unit Titles Act 1972 in principal unit No R on unit plan 154558 together with accessory unit No. AU14 and AU91, registered on 23 August 1993 at the North Auckland Land Registry against certificate of title 92B/630, subject to supplementary record sheet: 92B/537; and

b Secondly, under lease C. 509407.5 dated 1 April 1993 between Manfred Albert Schauer of Tutukaka, merchant banker and Winsor Wing Scheung Schauer, his wife, as lessors and R O Sandstad Limited, as lessee, in respect of a stratum estate in freehold within the meaning of the Unit Titles Act 1972 in Principal Unit No. AA on Unit Plan 154558 together with Accessory Unit No. AU68 and AU100, registered on 23 August 1993 at the North Auckland Land Registry against certificate of title 92B/639, subject to supplementary record sheet: 92B/537;

being leases formerly held by R O Sandstad Limited, a company removed from the Companies Register on 1 June 1995.

And I certify that the vesting of the said leases did not come to my notice until the 9th day of September 1998.
