Declaration Acquiring Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, rights to convey water over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, containing the rights and powers as contained in the Second Schedule hereto, are acquired for irrigation purposes in perpetuity and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Easement in Gross Acquired for Electricity Conveyance, Turiwoa School, Wairoa District

Pursuant to section 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Trevor Knowles, Clearances, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement being entered into, the following easement in gross is acquired for electricity conveyance purposes, over the land described in the Schedule to this notice and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, including the full and free right in perpetuity, for the grantee and its agents to do the following over the land described in the Schedule:

(a) to take, convey and lead electricity reticulation in a free and uninterrupted flow from the source of supply or point of entry in, along and through the easement land;

(b) to lay, place and maintain or to have laid, placed and maintained; overhead lines, poles, cables or pipes of a sufficient size and of a suitable material for the purpose under the surface of the land over which the easement is granted or created or along the length or in any direction through the easement land;

(c) to enter with any tools, implements, machinery, vehicles or equipment of whatsoever nature, but
