Land Acquired for a Limited Access Road in New Plymouth District — Ahu Ahu Road

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981 and to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect being entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice, is hereby acquired for limited access road, which becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice, to be road and vested in The Waipa District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice, to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 42B/70.

(c) The land described in the Third Schedule to this notice, to be taken under section 119 and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 42B/70.

Amending a Notice Declaring Road to be Stopped in Rodney District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 24 November 1997, declaring road to be stopped, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 November 1997, No. 166 at page 3982 and registered as D. 298792.1 (North Auckland Land Registry), by deleting the operative cause and substituting the following operative clause:

“Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portions of road described in the Schedule to be stopped and The Rodney District Council, with the consent of the Minister of Conservation, has resolved that the Esplanade Reserve requirements over those portions of road firstly, thirdly, fourthly, fifthly, sixthly, seventhly and eighthly described, shall, pursuant to section 118 of the Public Works Act 1981, section 345 (3) of the Local Government Act 1974, and section 405A of the Resource Management Act 1991, be waived.”
