Traffic Regulations 1976
Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976
Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Jörg Simon Mager, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Exempted requirements
relating to:
Regulation 65 (b): Spotlamps
Regulation 78A (c): Rear seat belts
Schedule 3
Conditions
(i) The vehicles may be fitted with not more than two spotlamps providing a moveable beam of white or amber light;
(ii) The spotlamps may only be operated while the vehicles are being used for exhibition purposes;
(iii) Persons must not travel in the rear seating positions except as provided for in (iv) below;
(iv) Persons may travel in the rear seating positions while the vehicles are participating in a parade provided the vehicles do not exceed 30 km/h and the rear windows remain fully open;
(v) This exemption applies only whilst the motor vehicles are owned and operated by Friends of the Police Museum Incorporated;
(vi) This exemption may be revoked at any time;
(vii) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicles at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Jörg Simon Mager, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

(ii) The items specified in Schedule 2 must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way;
(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time;
(iv) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and must be readily available for inspection.
