Notice of Hearing by Appeals Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand
The Appeals Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand will be hearing an appeal by 1 member against the decision of the disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday, the 11th day of August 1998 at 10.00 a.m.
The hearing will be held in the Mercer Room of the institute, Level Two, Cigna House, 40 Mercer Street, Wellington.
Under the rules of the institute, hearings of the appeals council will normally be held in public and will be open to the news media.
The appeals council also has power, in the interests of any person or in the public interest, to hold a hearing, or any part of a hearing, in private.

Notice of Intention to Seek Approval of the Minister of Energy to the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety of Fittings and Electrical Appliances 1998 (NZECP 3:1998) and Approval of the Revocation of the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety of Fittings and Electrical Appliances 1995 (ECP 3:1995)
Pursuant to section 38 (2) (a) of the Electricity Act 1992 (“the Act”), I, David James Green, Manager, Energy Inspection, acting under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce (pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988), hereby give notice that I intend to apply, after 1 month from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to the Minister of Energy for approval of the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety of Fittings and Electrical Appliances 1998 (NZECP 3:1998) (“the code”) and approval of the revocation of the New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety of Fittings and Electrical Appliances 1995 (ECP 3:1995). The code was issued by me on the 16th day of July 1998, acting pursuant to section 36 of the Act.
Comments are requested from any interested parties. Copies of the code may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Engineer, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
Comments should be received within 30 days of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
