Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme
In the matter of section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the will of the late John Evinson Rayner:

Take notice that the trustees in the estate of the late John Evinson Rayner have applied to the High Court, Wellington, under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, as it has become impossible or impracticable or inexpedient to carry out the charitable purposes for which the late John Evinson Rayner bequeathed his estate, namely to St Dominic’s School for the Deaf, Feilding, to seek approval for the estate to be disposed of for some other charitable purpose, after meeting payments of its administration, disbursements and costs of litigation, the estate ought to be divided equally as to one-third each to Kelston Deaf Education Centre in Auckland, Van Asch Deaf Education Centre in Christchurch and St Joseph’s School, Feilding, and the trustees give notice that the application has been set down for hearing in the High Court, Wellington, on the 19th day of October 1998 at 10.00 a.m. and give notice that any person desiring to oppose the scheme approved by the Attorney-General give written notice of their intention to do so to:

1. The Registrar, High Court, 2 Molesworth Street (P.O. Box 1091), Wellington; and
2. The trustees, care of Taverner Keys, Solicitors, Belvedere Road (P.O. Box 54), Carterton; and
