Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes, and it shall thereafter be so held.

Southland Land District—Southland District

4.2107 hectares, more or less, being Section 358, S.O. 10592 and situated in Block I, Takitimu Survey District.

New Zealand Walkways Act 1990

Declaration and Naming of a Walkway

Pursuant to section 8 (6) of the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Auckland Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that a walkway easement in gross has been established over the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, that the walkway land shall hereafter be known as the Te Henga Walkway.

  1. Those areas described in transfer No. D. 213932.3 as being “B”, “C” and “A”, (but excluding “F”, Deposited Plan 178761), and “C” and “D” Deposited Plan 178761 comprised in certificates of title 704/56 and 50C/846.

  2. That area described in transfer No. D. 213933.3 as being “B” Deposited Plan 107639, comprised in certificate of title 424/788.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, the Horowhenua District Council hereby changes the purpose of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for local purpose (utility) to a reserve for local purposes (road), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Wanganui Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (public utility) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Wellington Land District—Rangitikei District

8296 square metres, more or less, being Section 80A, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District (S.O. 15306). All New Zealand Gazette, 1905, page 2764.

Classification of Reserve

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Masterton District Council on 24 June 1998:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Masterton District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be local purpose reserve (aerodrome) within the meaning of the said Act”.
