  1. The section of State Highway No. 73 that is:

(a) At Christchurch on Blenheim Road/Main Road South from the Curletts Road/Blenheim Road intersection (at Route Position 6/1.28) and extending in a generally south-westerly direction to a point (at Route Position 6/4.67) on Main South Road located 100 metres generally in an easterly direction from Brynley Street, a distance of approximately 3.39 kilometres.

(b) At Christchurch on Yaldhurst Road from the intersection with Russley Road/Masham Road (at Route Position 14/0.00) and extending in a generally westerly direction to a point (at Route Position 14/0.12) located 120 metres generally west of the intersection with Russley Road/Masham Road, a distance of 120 metres.

This bylaw was made by resolution passed at a meeting of Transit New Zealand held in Wellington on the 2nd day of April 1997.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve and Classification of That Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the latter Act.

Otago Land District—Waitaki District

23.9975 hectares, being Section 1, S.O. 23922. Formerly part C.T. A2/1220. T908729/5.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby notifies that the following resolution was notified by The Christchurch City Council on the 24th day of April 1997:

“That in exercise of its powers conferred in it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Christchurch City Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Schedule

Canterbury Land District—Christchurch City

5.2210 hectares, being Lot 2, D.P. 37685. All certificate of title 16K/33. Subject to fencing covenants in transfers 282019 and 93059/1.

5.6656 hectares, being Lot 2, D.P. 22949. All certificate of title 3C/845. Subject to a right to drain sewage and convey electric power and telephonic communications as contained in transfer 769246/1.

Union of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, declares that on and after the date of publication of this notice, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, shall be united to form one reserve.
