Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (pedestrian access) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Hamilton City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Pursuant to section 355 (3) of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister of Conservation vests the land described in the First Schedule hereto in The Manukau City Council as a local purpose (esplanade reserve), subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and vests the land described in the Second Schedule hereto in The Manukau City Council.
