dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 2, 1997.
(2) The localities specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The portions of road specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) The following notices are revoked:
(a) The provision in The Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 2, 1986*, which relates to the section of road at Paihia specified in the First Schedule.
(b) The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 3, 1974†.
(c) The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 1, 1974‡.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Far North District at Opononi:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai–Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 1970 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Kokohuia Road to a point 2460 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Kokohuia Road and from Kokohuia Road to a point 320 metres measured northerly, generally along the said State highway from Signal Station Road.
At Paihia:
Puketona Road (previously Blackbridge–Paihia Road): from a point 220 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Puketona Road from Marsden Road to Marsden Road.
At Rangitane:
Rangitane Road.
Second Schedule
SITUATED within Far North District at Broadwood:
Kaitaia–Motukaraka Road: from a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Kaitaia–Motukaraka Road from Takahue Road to a point 1100 metres measured westerly, generally, along Kaitaia–Motukaraka Road from Takahue Road.
At Opononi:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai–Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from Kokohuia Road along the said State highway to a point 1970 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Kokohuia Road.

The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice 1997
Pursuant to sections 52 (2) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice 1997.
(2) The road specified in the First Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) The following notice is revoked:
The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2, 1992*.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Manukau City at Howick:
Somerville Road from a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along Somerville Road from Sandspit Road to a point 500 metres measured northerly, generally, along Somerville Road from Whitford Road.
Second Schedule
SITUATED within Manukau City at Howick:
Somerville Road from a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along Somerville Road from Sandspit Road to a point 500 metres measured northerly, generally, along Somerville Road from Whitford Road.
