Education Lands Act 1949

Land Declared No Longer Needed For Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to authority delegated to me, I, John Graeme Simpson, National Property Manager, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.

2. This notice shall come into force on 15 May 1997.

All that piece of land comprising 6.6426 hectares, being:

1. Part Lot 1, D.P. 7482 and Section 106, part Sections 24, 25, 26 and 111R, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District. (New Zealand Gazette, No. 42, 9 July 1964, page 1115).

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for service lane and shall vest in The Waitomo District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
