Classification of a Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Reserve

Local Purpose (Off-Street Parking) Reserve, Onslow Street, Kawerau

The Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation and pursuant to section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (off-street parking) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act. (The reserve consequently vests in The Kawerau District Council, pursuant to section 26A of the Reserves Act 1977.)

The Regional Conservator, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation and pursuant to section 24 (1) (b) of the said Act, hereby revokes the reservation over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Kawerau District Council, in such manner and for such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, with the net proceeds of sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve as the Lake Okaro Recreation Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in The Rotorua District Council

Pursuant to sections 16 (1), 16 (10) and 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act, and declares the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Lake Okaro Recreation Reserve, and further, vests the said reserve in The Rotorua District Council, in trust, for that purpose.

Declaration That Land is a Recreation Reserve, State Highway 2, Te Puke

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Western Bay of Plenty District Council on the 27th day of February 1997:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Western Bay of Plenty District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act”.
