Conditions
(i) The items specified in Schedule 2 (except for seat belts) are exempted from complying with the appropriate vehicle standards;
(ii) The items specified in Schedule 2 (except for seat belts) must be the vehicle’s original equipment, in good condition and not modified in any way;
(iii) Static 3-point seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the front seating positions. All rear seating positions are equipped with the seat belts required by regulation 29 (1) (c) and all rear seat belts comply with the appropriate vehicle standard;
(iv) All seat belt anchorages that are not the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment have to comply with Specification St 120395;
(v) This exemption may be revoked at any time;
(vi) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Andrew Justice, Senior Engineer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.
