Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On 28 April 1997 at the District Court at Tauranga, Laura Kim Munro of 221 Snodgrass Road, Te Puna, Tauranga, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 30 September 1997, following her conviction on 28 April 1997 for an offence of driving whilst disqualified having been previously convicted of driving whilst disqualified.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a Holden Commodore motor vehicle, registered No. MY 5443, owned by the above-mentioned defendant Laura Kim Munro, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 1.00 p.m. on the 28th day of April 1997.

Notice of Appointment of Panel Member of the Waikato Regional Approval Panel

Pursuant to regulation 48 (1) of the Domestic Violence (Programmes) Regulations 1996, the Chief Executive is pleased to appoint

Keni Parata Johanni-Piahana, facilitator and co-ordinator of Tauranga (who under subclause (5) of this regulation is designated to represent Maori)

as panel member of the Waikato Regional Approval Panel for the period commencing on the date of this notice and expiring with the close of the 31st day of July 1999.
