Shoveler duck 3 May to 27 July 1997 incl. 2
Mallard duck 3 May to 27 July 1997 incl. 10
Paradise Shelduck 3 May to 27 July 1997 incl. 20
Pukeko 3 May to 27 July 1997 incl. 20
Black Swan 3 May to 27 July 1997 incl. 2
California Quail 3 May to 29 June 1997 incl. no limit
Canada Goose 3 May to 23 November 1997 incl. no limit
31 January to 29 March 1998 incl. no limit

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., except that Canada Geese may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day during the periods 1 August to 23 November 1997 inclusive and 31 January to 29 March 1998 inclusive.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Closed Game Area

Of the Closed Game Areas listed for the West Coast Acclimatisation District, numbers 2 and 3 are revoked.

Closed Game Area number 2 as listed for the Westland Acclimatisation District is amended by replacing "Okarito Creek" with 'Otatoki Creek'.
