THIRD SCHEDULE

Game Licences and Licence Fees

This schedule notifies the definitions and classes of game licences and fees payable in respect of each class of licence and the conditions attached thereto as set out in Regulation 13 and the Fifth Schedule of the Wildlife Regulations 1955.

The $1 game bird habitat stamp component of the following total licence fees is set by regulation 4 of the New Zealand Game Bird Habitat Stamp Regulations 1993.

The holder of any game licence for the 1997 game season shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits for each Fish and Game Region in which the hunting or killing of game takes place, as specified under the Second Schedule of the notice in the New Zealand Gazette in which the Minister of Conservation declared the 1997 open season for game.

The provisions of the Arms Act 1983 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.

Definitions

Adult: Any person 20 years of age or older as at 3 May 1997.

Young Adult: Any person 16 years of age or older but not having obtained 20 years of age as at 3 May 1997.

Junior: Any person under the age of 16 years as at 3 May 1997.

Child: Any person under the age of 12 years as at 3 May 1997.

Class: New Zealand Whole Season Game Licence

Conditions: A New Zealand Whole Season Game licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all Fish and Game Regions of New Zealand.
