Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice with the above heading dated the 18th day of June 1987, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 2nd day of July 1987, No. 101 at page 3032, by:

(a) Omitting from the first line of the declaration the words “section 20 of” and inserting the same at the beginning of paragraph (i).

(b) Inserting the words “Pursuant to” at the beginning of paragraph (i).

(c) Omitting the words “an agreement to that effect having been entered into” from the Second and Third lines of the declaration and inserting in the words “an agreement having been entered into” into the first line of paragraph (i) immediately before the words “The land ...”.

(d) Substituting “(a)” for “(i)” in the first paragraph of the declaration.

The Minister of Lands declares that, pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, held for local purpose reserve (screening and beautification) is hereby set apart for road and shall remain vested in The New Plymouth District Council, and pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule is hereby acquired for local purpose reserve (screening and beautification) subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and shall vest in The New Plymouth District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
