The Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice 1997
Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice 1997.
(2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend on the plan numbered LT9702/1, entitled “Kaipara District Roading Speed Restrictions at Dargaville”, and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be either closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, or 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as stated in the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
(3) The following notices are revoked:
(a) The Traffic (Dargaville Borough) Notice No. 1, 1976*.
(b) Excluding Streets and Roads from the Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act 1936 Section 3†.

Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Central Otago District) Notice 1997.
(2) The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) Those parts of the Traffic (Central Otago District) Notice No. 1, 1991* which relate to the roads in the Schedule below are revoked.

SITUATED within Central Otago District at Clyde:
Blythe Street.
Drivers Rest.
Dunstan Street.
Fache Street.
Ferraud Street.
Fraser Street.
Hartley Road.
Hazlett Street: from its north-western end to a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along Hazlett Street from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton via Alexandra).
Holloway Street.
Lantern Way.
Matau Street.
Naylor Street.
Newcastle Street.
Orchard Street.
O’Reilly Avenue.
Pyke Street.
Shields Street.
Sunderland Street: from a point 100 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said street from Holloway Street to a point 100 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Dunstan Street.
The Stonestack.
The Whistlestop.
Vincent Place.
Waldron Place.
Whitby Street.

The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
(3) The following notices or parts thereof are revoked:
(a) The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1992*.
(b) That part of the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1994† which relates to a road situated within Waipa District at Te Awamutu.
(c) The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice 1996‡.
