National Marine Oil Spill Contingency Plan

Pursuant to section 297 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, I, Jennifer Mary Shipley, Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the Director of Maritime Safety must, by 31 March 1997, prepare the National Marine Oil Spill Contingency Plan that the Director is required to prepare in accordance with sections 296 to 298 of the Maritime Transport Act.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Rodney District) Notice 1997

Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice 1997.

(2) The localities specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

(3) The following notices are revoked:

(a) Those parts of the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 3 1986* which relate to the road situated within the rural division of Rodney at Kaukapakapa.

(b) Those parts of the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 2 1990† which relate to the road situated within the rural division of Rodney at Matakana.

(c) Those parts of the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1 1991‡ which relate to the road situated within the rural division of Rodney at Kaukapakapa.

(d) Those parts of the Traffic (Rodney District) Notice No. 1 1993§ which relate to the road situated within the rural division of Rodney at Huapai and Kumeu.

Schedule

SITUATED within Rodney District:

At Matakana

Matakana Road: from a point 600 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Matakana Road from Matakana Valley Road to a point 200 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Matakana Road from Matakana Valley Road.

At Kaukapakapa

Kaipara Coast Road: from a point 160 metres measured northerly, generally, along Kaipara Coast Road from North Crescent to a point 500 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Kaipara Coast Road from North Crescent.

At Muriwai

Muriwai Road: from a point 160 metres measured southerly, generally, along Muriwai Road from State Highway No. 16 (Auckland-Wellsford) along Muriwai Road to School Road.

At Leigh

Leigh Road: from a point 350 metres measured easterly, generally, along Leigh Road from Ashton Road to the one lane bridge at a point 1500 metres measured easterly, generally, along Leigh Road from Ashton Road.
