Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Revoking Section of State Highway—Declaring New Section of State Highway—State Highway No. 20 and 20A in Manukau City

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 20 described in the First Schedule hereto, is revoked and the sections of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, are declared to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

First Schedule

That section of State Highway No. 20 in the City of Manukau, commencing at a point on Coronation Road (at old Route Position 1/6.12) approximately 210 metres north of the Walmsley Road intersection and extending in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 5.91 kilometres along Coronation Road, McKenzie Road, Kirkbride Road and Massey Road to a point on Massey Road approximately 70 metres south-west of its intersection with Buckland Road.

Second Schedule

State Highway No. 20 to include that section of road in the City of Manukau commencing at a point (at new Route Position 0/8.57) on existing State Highway No. 20 on the southern side of Massey Road and extending in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 3.59 kilometres - including motorway ramps and connections to and from Massey Road, Walmsley Road and Coronation Road - to a point (at new Route Position 10/1.08) on State Highway No. 20, 420 metres south of the Hastie Avenue footbridge.

State Highway No. 20A to include that section of road in the City of Manukau commencing at a point (as new Reference Station 0) on the new section of State Highway No. 20 beneath the Hall Avenue footbridge and extending in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 2.1 kilometres - including motorway ramps and connections to and from State Highway No. 20 and Bader Drive - to the intersection of Kirkbride Road and George Bolt Memorial Drive.

Reserves Act 1977

Amendment to a Notice—Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby amends an error in notices dated the 7 February 1997 and 9 May 1997, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 16, page 358 and No. 49, page 1133, by replacing the words “Part certificate of title 1059/222” with “All certificate of title 61B/796”.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a road reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

7817 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 83753, situated in Block XI, Mangahao Survey District. Part Gazette notice B. 545867.1.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (b) of the said Act.
