Classification of a Reserve

Declaration That Land is Reserve and Corrigendum

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Franklin District Council on 22nd day of August 1995:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Franklin District Council hereby resolves, that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act”.

Furthermore, the Acting Regional Conservator hereby gives notice that in the declaration with the heading, “Declaration That Land is Reserve”, published in New Zealand Gazette, 9 May 1996, No. 45, page 1251, the second parcel of land described in the First Schedule is hereby deleted.
