Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, New Plymouth, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The New Plymouth District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika, declares the land in the Schedule hereto, to be stopped and further declares that the stopped road shall be dealt with as Crown land.

Road to be Stopped and Land Taken for Severance in Westland District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika:

(a) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road described in the First Schedule to be stopped and further declares that:

(1) The area marked “BI” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 3A/861, subject to memorandum of mortgage 071354.2 (Westland Registry).

(2) The area marked “BO” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 3A/981, subject to memorandum of mortgage 071354.2 (Westland Registry).

(3) The areas marked “DJ”, “DL” and “DM” shall be dealt with as stewardship land administered by the Department of Conservation.

(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Second Schedule be taken for severance and further declares that:

(1) The area marked “BL” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 3A/861, subject to memorandum of mortgage 071354.2 (Westland Registry).

(2) The area marked “BI” shall be dealt with as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

(3) The areas marked “DR”, “DT” and “DW” shall be dealt with as stewardship land administered by the Department of Conservation.
