Acting District Court Judge Appointed
Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
John Webster Imrie, District Court Judge, to retire on 9 March 1996
to be an Acting District Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947, at such place or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to the said section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of 12 months on and from the 1st day of April 1996.

Notice of Approval of a Statement of Preferred Work Practices Under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992
Pursuant to section 20 (3) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, and whereas subsections (3) (a) and (3) (b) of section 20 of that Act, have been fulfilled and complied with, I, the Minister of Labour, hereby give notice that I approve a statement of preferred work practices which is an Approved Code of Practice entitled "The Design, Safe Operation, Maintenance and Servicing of Boilers".

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
Order
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Central Bay of Plenty) Order 1995.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Central Bay of Plenty harbour limits redefined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this order are hereby defined as the limits of Central Bay of Plenty harbour.

Revocations—(1) The Order in Council of 13 April 1993* defining the harbour of Maketu Estuary and Little Waihi Estuary, and sea and Waioeka and Otara River is hereby revoked.
(2) The Order in Council of 11 July 1994† defining the harbour of Kaituna River is hereby revoked.
(3) The Order in Council of 19 June 1986‡ defining the harbour of Whakatane is hereby revoked.
Schedule
Central Bay of Plenty
All the tidal waters of the Bay of Plenty contained within a line commencing from position 37° 44.5' S 176° 24.2' E, thence in a 025° direction to position 37° 41.0' S 176° 26.0' E, thence in a 111° direction to the northernmost point of Moutohora Island (Whale Island) at position 37° 50.8' S 176° 58.2' E, thence in a 117° direction to the land in position 37° 59.4' S 177° 19.3' E; and all the waters of the Kaituna River from the outlet of Lake Rotoiti to the
