Notice of Application for an Amendment to an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 19 December 1995, and a sub-delegation from the Secretary for Transport, dated 21 December 1995, I, John Gibson Bradbury, General Manager International Relations, hereby give notice that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the international air service licence issued to Air Caledonie International to enable the airline (a) to operate a weekly cargo service between Noumea and Auckland with wet-leased aircraft; and (b) to code-share on the services of another airline which holds a New Zealand International Air Service Licence, with effect from 10 April 1996.

Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Royal Tongan Airlines has applied for the renewal of its International Air Service Licence to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Tonga and Auckland, and beyond to Sydney, from 1 July 1996, and that it is proposed that renewal be granted for a period of 5 years from that date.

Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application, must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 5 April 1996.

Pursuant to section 14A of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Kiwi Travel International Airlines Limited has applied for amendments to its international air service licence to enable the airline to carry on scheduled services with DC10 aircraft to (1) Singapore and (2) beyond Australia (Cairns) to Kansai, with effect from 1 July 1996, and to delete Rarotonga from the licence.

- up to 4 return services per week to Hong Kong, with effect from 1 November 1996;
- up to the equivalent of 5 B747 return services per week optionally via Brisbane to Osaka, with effect from 1 November 1996;
- up to the equivalent of 6 B767 return services per week to Seoul, with effect from 1 April 1997; and up to the equivalent of 8 B767 return services per week to Seoul, with effect from 1 November 1997;
- up to the equivalent of 6 B767 return services per week to Bangkok, with effect from 1 April 1997; and
- up to the equivalent of 2 B767 return services per week optionally via Australia and/or a point in Asia to Shanghai, with effect from 1 April 1997.
