Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 28 September 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Elizabeth Schubert in respect of:

Pauanui Playschool, Sheppard Avenue, Pauanui.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Sacred Heart College, Hamilton.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 19th day of February 1996. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

St Matthew’s School (Attendance Dues) Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at St Matthew’s School, Hastings.

Notice

  1. This notice shall be cited as the St Matthew’s School (Attendance Dues) Notice 1996.

  2. The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

  3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $223 (exclusive of G.S.T.) per annum per pupil.

  4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education, pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated school.

Fisheries Act 1983

Fisheries Act (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 1) 1996 (No. F20)

Pursuant to section 28w (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries Act (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 1) 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation

(a) Any reference to a Quota Management Area means the appropriate Quota Management Area as defined in the Fisheries (Quota Management Areas, Total Allowable Catches and Catch Histories) Notice 1986*;

(b) Species are specified by way of fishstock codes, being Fishstock Codes defined in the Second Schedule of the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 1990†;

  1. Exemption to quota aggregation limit—(1) As from the date that this notice comes into effect, Ngai Tahu Fisheries Limited is permitted to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the 10 percent aggregation limit for rock lobster in quota management area 8 up to a percentage limit of 13.92 percent as provided in section 28w (1) (b) of the Fisheries Act 1983.
