Education Act 1989

Wairarapa Community Polytechnic Amendment Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989 (as inserted by section 37 of the Education Amendment Act 1990), the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic Amendment Notice 1996.

  2. The notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The notice entitled Wairarapa Community Polytechnic Notice 1990, published in the New Zealand Gazette on 27 September 1990, No. 169, page 3562, is hereby amended by deleting clauses 3 (f) to 3 (p) and substituting these with the following subclauses:

‘‘(f) One member appointed by the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic Council after consultation with the Central Body of Employers, with regard to the needs of the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic.

(g) One member appointed by the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic Council after consultation with the Central Body of Workers, with regard to the needs of the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic.

(h) One member appointed by The Masterton District Council and the Masterton Trust Lands Trust, with regard to the needs of the Wairarapa Community Polytechnic and the rural nature of the Wairarapa.
