Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How the Proceeds of Sale May Be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the local purpose (utility) reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Whakatane District Council, to the owners of adjoining properties, at such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, with any net proceeds of sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.
