Traffic Regulations 1976

The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice No. 2 1996

Pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport to the Secretary for Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice No. 2 1996.

(2) The Second Schedule to Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1996* is amended by omitting the phrase “250 metres”, and substituting the phrase “360 metres”.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Peter Nicholas Rendall, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 78 (1) (a) and (b) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, subject to all conditions specified within Schedule 2 of this notice.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 (“the Act”), and to an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Transport to the Secretary of Transport dated 31 August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice 1996.

(2) Pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Act, the road specified in the Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Act.

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (e) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and under powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation dated the 13th day of May 1996, I, Jennifer Gail McIlroy, Manager, Compliance Safer People and Operators, hereby approve the hazardous substances courses to be run by the following organisation for the purposes of section 70H (1) (a) of the Transport Act 1962:

Notice of Approval to Act as a Statutory Supervisor

Pursuant to Section 48 of the Securities Act 1978

Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978 the Securities Commission approves Ian Gordon Stuart Donald to act as a statutory supervisor for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978 in respect of participatory securities to be offered to the public for subscription by Williams Guarantee Limited (“the issuer”), for a period of 5 years from the date of this notice. The approval is given subject to the following conditions:

(a) That Ian Gordon Stuart Donald is not at any time a member of the issuer,

(b) That Ian Gordon Stuart Donald does not at any time hold any office or appointment (including appointment as auditor) in respect of the issuer or any manager of the scheme;

(c) That Ian Gordon Stuart Donald does not at any time control or does not have the right to control, directly or indirectly, the issuer or any manager of the scheme otherwise than in connection with the performance of his functions and powers;

(d) That Ian Gordon Stuart Donald does not at any time hold any participatory securities issued by the issuer or any manager of the scheme;

(e) That no relationship exists at any time between Ian Gordon Stuart Donald and the issuer, or any manager of the scheme, that affects, or is likely to affect, the ability of Ian Gordon Stuart Donald to perform his functions and powers as statutory supervisor;
